1. The Reel of Tullochgorem
Sarah starts her course for Improvers to the Flute with a traditional 2/4 reel in D Major that is nearly identical to a tune called Jamie Allen played in another key.
The Improvers’ Flute: Boehm System FocusĀ course is for those players of the classical silver flute who know their way round the flute and have played a few tunes, but are now ready to develop their technique and repertoire whilst getting some tips on warming up and utilising their time.
The course not only teaches tunes, but also covers tips on ornamentation, breathing and articulation, and precedes the Intermediate Flute: Boehm System Focus course.
Downloadable sheet music is available for all tunes.
Sarah is a flautist, singer and keyboard player from Northumberland.
