The Guitar for Beginners course is for those who would consider themselves to be a beginner; from those who have never picked up a guitar, through those who once plucked a few strings but never got beyond that, or those who could play a little bit before and would like to refresh their basic skills.
The course looks at the fundamentals to the guitar including basic notes, music notation and tuning.
It then moves on to simple chords and chord charts before learning some melodies and chords that can be played alongside them.
A multi-instrumentalist within the Glasgow trad scene, Owen Sinclair has made his mark as an international performer and teacher.
Performing regularly with Tannara, Westward the Light and Inyal, as well as staple tutor at the renowned Glasgow Fiddle Workshop. He also performs as part of the Bell Rock Cèilidh Band
